The Tetley Atelier is providing blocks of taught art classes this year at the studio at Glebe Farm Barn, Whitsbury. These classes consist of a carefully structured approach to acquiring and enhancing drawing and painting skills. Subject matter consists of copying, geometric forms, still life and casts.
Study periods last from 12 noon till the light fades in the afternoon. The periods will be on Wednesdays each week in January from the 8th.
The next block is of six sessions, the cost of which is £100, payable in advance. This ensures a study place for the student. Materials for drawing that are supplied will be charged at cost plus a handling fee or drawing and painting materials can be purchased from the Compleat Artist, Salisbury and please bring a contribution towards a light lunch.
An extra free session is included on Wednesday 19th February on payment for the four sessions in March.
The venue is in Jonathan Tetley’s studio in Whitsbury, one of the villages outside Salisbury. Unfortunately, there is no disabled access at the studio and facilities are basic (camping loo) although we do have running hot water
